Powered Sledding

So when I was a kid, we’d take a rope, tie a metal disc sled to the back of an ATV, and take turns dragging each other around in the snow.  When it was time to trade positions, the ATV rider would pin the throttle and spin donuts until the sled rider was chucked into the snow.  Add that to the “how is it that I grew up without getting killed or severely maimed” list.

Older, wiser, and having a child, things have gotten a bit more tame, but no less fun.

    • I’ve tried a few setups, including tying off of a rack on my last fatbike. Tying to the seatpost is the most stable, and gives me the most control over the “pull” of the sled.
