It’s amazing, but I can’t remember the last time I had a day where I actually went places (I.e. didn’t stay home all day) and didn’t drive a car. Spending the day in Madison, a city designed–or updated–to accommodate bicycles, has been liberating. The Mrs. and I have put in about 20 miles, over the day, prattling here and there.
It really makes me question why I live in such a cycling desert.

Isn’t it great? When college is in session August-May, the amount of people on bicycles explodes and the happy bicycling energy just rubs off. Makes you just want to grab a bike, any bike, and just ride.
