In anticipation of the upcoming Barry Roubaix, we’ve been logging some Fat Gravel miles. Wednesday night, for the first time in a long time, we had daylight to ride in, on our 6pm night ride (at least at the start).
A good crowd turned out.

We had a brief stop to help one member go from snow air pressure to road air pressure.

Road conditions were good.

And so we just rode off into the sunset.

I was running about 17psi. I think that’s more than I’ll be running at Barry. I’m thinking of trying around 13-14psi. I don’t want to have too much bounce, but I’d like to have a little more grip on loose-ish gravel (and potentially a bit more float if conditions are bad).
